Yes, the girls got theirs for school, so Will was not left out. He uses this backpack for supplies such as diapers, wipes, snacks, etc. when he goes to Church or other activities.

Andrea is fired up with a new attitude for inspiring me and the kids at home. She got this inspiration from her Mops (Mothers of Preschoolers) group speaker last week at Church. The idea is to practice what you preach and be an All-Star Mom and coach an all-star cast at home!

I like this new attitude!

This year, Bailey plays 9U where the fields are much larger and the team plays 7 at a time including a goalie. Lots of change, but it’s good change.

The girls had a great first day of school. Bailey is now in 3rd grade, and Caroline started her educational journey with kindergarten. Will was noticeably apathetic.

I got the super camera for free? You know there is always a catch. And that catch is that I saved the money necessary to buy the camera before I bought the camera. And I saved the money by playing the grocery game. Yes, I have saved over a thousand bucks playing the grocery game, so there, I used the money I saved buying necessary groceries to by the camera – next effect is that the camera was FREE!

waiting for my new toy to arrive. When it did, just last evening, I met the UPS man at the street. Yes, the camera I’ve been wanting for over a year is now mine. It’s a Canon 40D Digital SLR.

And the Costco deal I got delivered with it a nice 28-135 Lens with Image Stabilization. Wow, i spent the whole evening reading the manual and taking test shots. Lots to learn with this super gadget.
